Dialogue in the Dark, for those of you who haven’t heard of it, is a internationally known exhibit in which you are on a guided tour for 90 minutes completely in the dark.  The tour is led with someone who visually impaired.  You are given a walking stick and are instructed to follow the voice of the guide.  I was excited, nervous and confused all at the same time the minute we were put in the dark.  It was so hard not being able to see…I had a good few minutes were I was debating whether or not to even leave my eyes open or closed.  We got to experience “the rain forest”, “streets of Hong Kong”, “riding on a ferry”, “concert in the dark” as well as “restaurant in the dark”.  We had a wonderful guide who told us about her life story, how she became blind, how she met her husband and about taking care of her kids.  This was an amazing experience that I would totally do again and recommend to anyone that is coming to Hong Kong or will be in a city that has DiD.

I went to Ocean Park again for the first time in years!  A lot has changed that’s for sure.  Rides wise I miss Six Flags…nothing is really compared to it.  However, I did enjoy the cute panda bears though I wish there was more.  We spent the entire day there from open to close.  If I had to choose Disneyland or Ocean Park, then it’d be Ocean Park hands down.

Swing danced for the first time in my life!  Definitely not my strong suit but it was fun to try and watch others be amazing at it.  This restaurant will also be where I’ll be having my 21st birthday dinner as well which I am very excited about!
